2018 Week 4 NFL Picks Week 3: 7-9 overall, 4-12 vs. the spread MINNESOTA VIKINGS AT LA RAMS LAR -7 The Rams have been the best team in the NFL through the first 3 weeks and are home on a Thursday. Los Angeles 28, Minnesota 17 PHILADELPHIA EAGLES AT TENNESSEE TITANS PHI -4 The Eagles have a better chance of figuring out the Titans' defense than the other way around. Philadelphia 20, Tennessee 10 CINCINNATI BENGALS AT ATLANTA FALCONS ATL -5.5 Atlanta is dealing with numerous injuries on defense - also looks like Devonta Freeman will be out again. Cincinnati should be able to split its back to back road games against the NFC South. Cincinnati 31, Atlanta 24 TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS AT CHICAGO BEARS CHI -3 Assuming Ryan Fitzpatrick starts, the Buccaneers' offense has been more reliable than the Bears'. Tampa Bay 20, Chicago 16 DETROIT LIONS AT DALLAS COWBOYS DAL -3 Not much confidence in either of these teams, but maybe Matt Patricia's su...
2018 Week 3 NFL Picks Week 2: 8-8 overall, 4-12 vs the spread Weeks 1-2: 18-14 overall, 13-20 vs the spread NY JETS AT CLEVELAND BROWNS CLE -3 Going back to last season, Cleveland is 0-17-1 in their last 18 games. Glad to pick against them taking a NY Jets team that has already won on the road. New York 20, Cleveland 17 INDIANAPOLIS COLTS AT PHILADELPHIA EAGLES PHI -6.5 Indianapolis should be content with splitting back to back road games versus the NFC East after beating Washington last week. Carson Wentz' return changes the Eagles' passing offense from short, high percentage throws to the ability to attack downfield. Philadelphia 24, Indianapolis 10 NEW ORLEANS SAINTS AT ATLANTA FALCONS ATL -3 Atlanta has more at stake in this game with a harder schedule in the next few weeks. The Falcons have also played better up to now - the Saints need to figure out what they're doing on defense. Atlanta 31, New Orleans 27 SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS AT KANSA...
2018 Week 2 NFL Picks Week 1: 10-6 overall, 9-7 vs the spread BALTIMORE RAVENS AT CINCINNATI BENGALS CIN -1 Both teams won by double digits last week. The Bengals had the bigger achievement beating Andrew Luck on the road. The Bengals and Ravens had two different strategies last week - the Bengals heavily featured Joe Mixon and AJ Green while the Ravens spread the ball around. This is the only Bengals home game in their first 4 games of 2018. Their next two games are at Carolina and at Atlanta. Baltimore is home next week. Combined with home field advantage in a short week, going with the Bengals here.  Cincinnati 16, Baltimore 13 PHILADELPHIA EAGLES AT TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS PHI -3 Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Buccaneers caught the Saints' defense by surprise in Week 1. Expecting the Eagles' defense to do a better job of pressuring Fitzpatrick and keeping a lid on Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, while the Eagles offense takes a step forward. Philadelphia 28, Ta...
2018 Week 1 NFL Picks ATLANTA FALCONS at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES PHI -1 The Eagles’ defense were the heroes of last season’s 15–10 playoffs win over the Falcons. It might take Nick Foles until next week in Tampa to get on track, but Doug Pederson should have some offensive wrinkles to keep Atlanta’s defense off-balance. Philadelphia 26, Atlanta 21 PITTSBURGH STEELERS at CLEVELAND BROWNS Pit -4 The Steelers will increase James Conner’s usage regardless of if or when LeVeon Bell shows up. They will not need a great running game this week against a Browns team that is still in disarray. Pittsburgh 34, Cleveland 10 CINCINNATI BENGALS AT INDIANAPOLIS COLTS IND -3 It is unusual for end-of-preseason opponents to face off again in Week 1 of the regular season, but here we are. It’s a rivalry now. How many games can Andrew Luck win by himself this year? The Bengals will come out energized to prove this isn’t another year of futility. Cincinnati 27, Indianapolis 24 SAN ...
